About me

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at Centro de Investigación en Computación, Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). My specialisation lies in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and my broad research interests are in topics like Personality/Emotion Detection, Low Resource Languages and Question Answering. I aspire to create computing solutions with more insights into human behaviour using machine/deep learning techniques. I am working on my thesis in “Automatic Personality detection in the text” under the supervision of  Dr Alexander Gelbukh and Dr Grigori Sidorov.

I obtained my master´s degree with honours in Computer Sciences from Centro de Investigación en Computación, Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and a baccalaureate degree from Forman Christian University, Lahore with a double specialization in Software Engineering and Computer Sciences. After my graduation, I also had the opportunity to work at Intelligent Machines Lab, Lahore where I worked under the supervision of Mr Talha Rehmani (MIT).
